Bermuda lacked access to fresh water, so Gridiron's solution was to retrofit a grey water reclamation facility that supplied laundry services for the 675 room hotel.

The steam system was 40 years old, and required an upgrade. We replaced the steam traps, associated piping, and controls.

The 375,000gal sewage aeration tank was 40 years old and collapsing. We built an interior separator and poured concrete to maintain the integrity of the tank. We also replaced the deep well salt water pump, using a mobile crane, which presented difficulties when balancing, positioning and testing functionality. This now maintains their salt water intake and the desalination process to provide water for the building (A/C, non-potable water requirements).

The interior air filtration system required a constant wash down/cleaning. We brought in a 300 tonne crane and a 20,000gal waste water treatment tank, placed it, and piped out the complete waste water treatment system for the plant. Additionally, we added pollution control for their large air filters. We also provided servicing and maintenance.
